Reaching city center
The easiest ways to reach Vilnius center:
Communication: Prepaid SIM cards could be purchased for Internet and phone calls while staying in Vilnius.
Hotels
Many hotels are available in Vilnius center. It is general recommendation to book hotel close to public transport going to student campus.
The main meeting venue is Saulėtekio al. 11, Central building. Public bus/trollleybus stop – „Gedimino technikos universitetas“. The trip from Vilnius city centre to VILNIUS TECH takes ~ 30 min by public transport.

Getting to the city center from the airport
It is best to take buses No. 3G and No. 88 to Vilnius city from the Vilnius Airport. The price of a single ticket is €1, and it can be purchased from the driver. It takes about 20 min to the city center.
Getting around in the city
The easiest way to get around Vilnius is with public transport (bus, trolleybus). For all the available options to get around the city, e-tickets, planning itineraries and schedules we suggest you to download the app Trafi - available for both Apple and Android users.

Reaching city center
The easiest ways to reach Vilnius center:
- Public transport (bus, trolleybus). It is possible to buy tickets from the driver (cash only); however, we recommend buying an electronic public transport card (day ticket) – “Vilniečio kortelė (Vilnius Resident Card)“. You can buy it in many places distribution places (including Vilnius airport). Short-term tickets (30 min. – 0,65 Eur; 60 min. – 0,90 Eur) and day tickets are available (1 day – 5,00 Eur; 3 days – 8,00 Eur; 5 days – 12,00 Eur).
- A trip planner can be found on judu.lt website or public transport app Trafi or m.Ticket, which includes e-tickets, maps, buses and trolleybuses routes, etc). Bus 4G and trolleybus 2 go from the center of Vilnius to COST meeting place on Saulėtekio Ave.
- Ride-sharing: BOLT or eTAKSI apps.
