Why this study programme?
The program is designed to prepare professionals with the ability to comprehensively integrate and apply knowledge of economic theories, the management of economic processes, and economic engineering. This encompasses not only the economy but also various aspects of social life, scientific advancements, and technological progress. These professionals possess distinct interdisciplinary competencies, allowing them to adeptly utilize the latest engineering achievements for economic problem-solving. They are equipped to assess the technological, ecological, social, cultural, and other factors inherent in modern economic development accurately.
- Our program has earned international recognition, being ranked among the top 251-300 universities in Economics and Econometrics by the "QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023." The degree awarded is globally acknowledged.
- Students undergo training tailored for the Industry 4 and Disruptive Innovation environment, with a specific focus on the Far East and Nordic region markets. Language skills in Chinese and Norwegian are cultivated to cater to these markets.
- Moreover, students have the opportunity to obtain a double degree from Kyungpook National University in South Korea. The learning environment emphasizes a small class size, fostering focused learning and high interaction levels.
- Internship opportunities are available in international and foreign capital companies located in Vilnius, providing practical exposure to the business world. Graduates are well-prepared to work in international companies, foreign capital firms, and foreign trade.
- The program offers students the chance to engage in internships and studies abroad during their academic journey through the Erasmus+ program. Furthermore, graduates can pursue additional internships after graduation in a European country under the Erasmus+ program.
- For those aspiring to further their education, the program opens doors to continue studies in master's degree programs.
What will students learn?
- Theories of fundamental worldview and humanitarian sciences use them to know and evaluate comprehensively and with systematic approaches economic, scientific and technological progress phenomena.
- Categories, principles and methods of economic theories and economic engineering, supplemented with the fundamental knowledge of adjacent sciences and possibilities of innovative practical research methods to make assumptions and solve economic problems practically.
- Innovative processes and digital economy as the economic factors of business efficiency, which require non-traditional resources and accessibility of conditions, along with its value creation, guaranteeing the strengthening of business competitiveness and the success of all economic processes.
Exchange Period Abroad
Faculty of Business Management offers excellent opportunities for all students wishing to study at a foreign partner universities. Currently, the faculty have more than 120 contracts with Universities in 23 European countries, bilateral agreements with American, Asian universities, which include more than 150 seats for exchange students every year.
