A guest lecturer – prof. dr. Agnieszka Domańska lecture about „Polish economy and main macroeconomic trends in Europe“
Department of Economics Engineering invitation on May 10th at 12.10 in SRK I 209 room will be guest lecturer – prof. dr. Agnieszka Domańska lecture „Polish economy and main macroeconomic trends in Europe“. Prof. dr. Agnieszka Domańska is a professor at the Warsaw School of Economics (Department of International Economic Policy, Institute of International Studies, KES), president of the Polish Chapter PRME and president of the Staszic Institute.
Her lecture will be about Polish economy and main macroeconomic trends in Europe: economic standing, governmental policy and use of EU funds" which is going to be some summary of the recent trends in the EU economy, particularly eurozone and presentation of the Polish economy on this backround. I hope to say also at least a few words about the disputes with European Commission on the future use of EU funds. I will see how time enables as topic is broad indeed.
Prof. dr. Agnieszka Domańska research interests focus on international economic relations, including international business cycle synchronization, transmission of macroeconomic shocks on a regional and global scale, the effects of international economic policy, the EU transport system, and cooperation between science and business, especially in relation to companies representing modern high-tech industries.
