Paskaita vyks VGTU Architektūros fakultete, 119 auditorijoje, pradžia – 18:00h.
FLEXIBLE HOUSING : S.3C & OPEN ORDERS
Nowadays, flexible housing is possible. Adequate technology, theoretical knowledge needed, and good examples and prototypes to apply already exists.
“Open industrialization” market conditions allow us thinking in Systems construction by compatible components (S.3c). This system is based in dry construction. Next step is how we can use its material properties to get flexible programs and spaces (“ad-hoc” open mechanos).
But this material solutions are not enough to get one coherent group of dwelling that work automatically right in this way (without social conflicts or wrong solutions). Geometry is necessary to help this kind of spatial systems: Open orders came to make possible The Game for every neighbour (coexistence).
Through 3 own books (The fates of four games; Atlas of S.3c; d21_system: one game to be inhabit) and alFA-G.100 dataBase (developed at ETSAM-upm), reyesJM bring us this concepts (S.3c & Open orders), and selected cases, to be more close of this kind of standard architecture and its real possibilities.
reyesJM (Ph.D.Architect by ETSAM-upm) is Prof. of design at Alfonso X El Sabio University, and guest Teacher in Postgraduate courses at ETSAM, UCH, UNED, I. Tec. de Monterrey, TU Wien.
