Department of Economics Engineering invitation on November 28th at 14.30 in SRK-I 701 aud. will be guest lecturers from Danske Bank - Ievos Segždaitės ir Justino Stanevičiaus  lecture on the topic Diversity & inclusion: is the pain worth the gain?

In this lecture we will speak about:
•           Diversity & inclusion: what it means and why it matters in a business context; comparisson of D&I in Lithuania and Nordic countries
•           Biases as a key challenge to inclusive workplace: individual awareness exercise
•           Practising diversity & inclusion: what organisations are doing + what we do in DB + exercise

About lecturers:
•           Ieva is a Chief D&I consultant and drives various D&I initiatives mainly in Danske Bank Nordic countries. She is ready to guide you in building D&I foundation and to share some fun facts regarding the differences between D&I limits in Lithuania and Nordic countries. Ieva is a true believer that ‘inclusion starts with I‘, therefore she will engage you to a practical exercise raising self-awareness of uncosnscious bias.
•           Justinas is a Senior Technology adoption consultant, who is making sure that technology in Danske Bank is used and introduced in a right way. He will share an overview of various initiatives driven by local and international organizations, as well as what works (and what doesn’t) in Danske Bank. Justinas will also make sure to challenge your own inclusion perception.
