INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN BUSINESS, MANAGEMENT AND EDUCATION’ 2015”
International scientific conference "Contemporary Issues in Business, Management and Education’2015” is held in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Faculty of Business Management on November 12-13. This year the International scientific conference has received special Lithuanian and foreign scholars’ attention.
The Dean of the faculty prof. dr. Jelena Stankevičienė was pleased that almost 100 authors from 11 countries registered on the conference website. The Conference covered many participants from Latvia, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Estonia, Ukraine, Turkey, Moldova and Lithuania. All papers were double peer reviewed by foreign and Lithuanian researchers.
The International Scientific Committee selected 42 most significant and original papers which will be published in different scientific journals and will be abstracted and indexed in high ranking databases.
The Conference takes place in several stages. On November 12th it starts with the plenary session, were three main scientific papers are represented by foreign and Lithuanian scientists:
- Aldona Jočienė – “Participation of Foreign Banks in the Baltic: Drivers and Consequences”
- Lukasz Nazarko – “Innovative Application of SWOT Analysis of the Formation of a Regional Innovation Policy”
- Eigirdas Žemaitis – “Impact Assessment Public Innovation Support of the European Economic Area”
After the plenary meeting scientists and conference guests will be divided into seven sections based on their research areas:
- Internationalization Processes: Contemporary Challenges
- Financial Risk Management of Business Development
- Modern Business Management Problems and Perspectives
- Informational Society: Challenges, Solutions, and Tendencies / Contemporary Issues of Economics and Management Studies: Problems and Perspectives
- Internationalization Processes: Contemporary Challenges
- Sustainable Economics Development
- Current Issues in Logistics and Management Engineering
The Faculty of Business Management organizes three scientific conferences:
- International scientific conference “Business and Management”
- International scientific conference “Contemporary Issues in Business, Management and Education”
- Lithuanian young scientists’ Conference “Science - future of Lithuania. Business in XXI Century”
Participation in the Conference - a great possibility to meet with researchers, scientists, get acquainted with the research results, participate in discussions and make possible cooperation.
