The Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE) has held annual conferences focused on Geographical Information Science for more than two decades. The 25th AGILE conference will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania on 14-17 June, 2022.

As in previous years, the call for papers will have a full paper (published in the AGILE: GIScience Series of Copernicus Publishers) and a short paper (published in the same publisher) and poster paper track ready for the Conference. Depending on the participation, the 25^th AGILE Conference will have parallel oral presentation sessions, at least three keynote sessions, a poster session, a best paper and a best poster sessions, as well as pre-conference workshops. The details about the sessions and events will be defined by the Local Organising Committee, and the Scientific Programme Committee together with the AGILE Council.

Researchers, developers, lecturers, students, and practitioners in all facets of Geo-Information Science and Technology and their applications are cordially invited to the conference, to present ongoing research, showcase products, network with colleagues from Europe and the rest of the world, and find out about the latest developments in the field. The conference theme for AGILE 2022 is "Artificial Intelligence in the service of Geospatial Technologies", aiming to highlight how artificial intelligence can boost the role of geospatial technologies in the current demanding circumstances from local to global scales, including resilience, epidemiology, spatial infrastructure, and pandemic impact related studies. Submissions related to all conference topics are welcome.

Graduate and PhD students are further supported through the lower fees, and gain high visibility. Also there are grants to support them (please, look at grant page).  AGILE 2022 following last year’s practice will further support reproducibility on submitted manuscripts. In addition, all accepted submissions will be published as Open Access articles to gain further visibility.
