Full-time studies can also be financed by EU structural funds, whereas part-time studies can be funded by the student's own finances (or those of a sponsoring institution).

Currently, additional admission is open for positions in the following doctoral fields of study:
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Civil Engineering.
  • Transport Engineering.
  • Informatics.
  • Informatics Engineering.

  • Management.
  • Communication and Information.
Individuals holding a Master's degree or an equivalent higher education qualification, and who meet the other requirements specified in the Regulations for Admission to Doctoral Studies, are eligible to apply.
The main selection criteria for doctoral applicants are:
  • The applicant's research output (articles, conference presentations, and their relevance to the proposed dissertation topic);
