Research and Innovation

In the field of Electronics, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) concentrates on the development and optimization of different devices and systems. Scientists, understanding a practical significance of this scientific field at the University, research the following: multimedia services provided by electronic communication, cognitive radio communication systems, computer safety systems, opportunities for implementation and control of alternative energy sources, electromagnetic phenomena and microwave circuits. Furthermore, the scientists develop smart radio communication devices and embedded intellectual mechatronic and advanced image processing systems. Projects carried out by the University’s scientists from the fields of electrical and electronic engineering significantly contribute to the enhancement of our country’s technological competitiveness and efficient implementation of innovations in different activities.
