Exhibition: "Reflections" by Eugenija Martinaitytė
We invite you to visit Gallery A where exhibited paintings by Eugenija Martinaitytė.
E. Martinaitytė's paintings are dominated by natural and urban landscapes of old architecture. The realistic accurate drawing reveals the beauty of the city, and the pastel colors create a certain atmosphere of romantic mystery, even nostalgia. In fact, some of the objects in her paintings, especially from Žvėrynas, no longer exist. In general, the painter can be called a kind of Vilnius poet – the images of the capital dominate in her works. Each landscape reflects the author's love for the city and the desire to reveal and immortalize the beauty of the chosen motive, the harmony of architectural forms.
The exhibition "Reflections" will be open on the second floor of VILNIUS TECH Library until July 19.
