New doctoral dissertation
VILNIUS TECH Library invites you to follow the published new dissertations. The dissertation „Research on multilayer semiconductor and dielectric microwave devices“ („Daugiasluoksnių puslaidininkinių ir dielektrinių mikrobangų įtaisų tyrimas“) prepared by VILNIUS TECH, Vaiva Rusen . The dissertation was prepared in 2018–2023, and the supervisor vas Prof. Dr Darius Plonis.
The dissertation was defended at the public meeting of the Dissertation Defence Council of the Scientific Field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Senate Hall of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University at 10 a. m. on 30 May 2023.
„The dissertation studies multilayer semiconductor and dielectric microwave devices. The solved problem focuses on improving multilayer microwave devices and on analysing and predicting the frequency characteristics of propagating electromagnetic waves. The dissertation’s object is multilayer semiconductor and dielectric devices, device characteristic analysis and prediction. The work addresses the following tasks: design and improvement of structures of multilayer semiconductor and dielectric microwave devices; calculation and investigation of phase and attenuation characteristics of electromagnetic waves propagating in multilayer microwave devices; prediction of the frequency response of tunable multilayer semiconductor and dielectric devices.“
