The dissertation „International management creating, disseminating and implementing high technologies“ prepared by VILNIUS TECH, Audronė Kvedarienė. The dissertation was prepared in 2016–2022, supervisors – Prof. Dr Habil. Borisas Melnikas.
The dissertation was defended at the public meeting of the Dissertation Defence Council of Management in the Senate Hall of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University at 1 p. m. on 6 June 2022.
The thesis investigates the creation, dissemination and implementation of high technologies from the international management perspective. Based on the examined scientific literature, the international management practice lacks measures enabling to identify and analyze these activities aiming for their international benchmarking. Meanwhile, the strategic business decision-making and the development of high technology creation, dissemination and implementation under the conditions of globalization and internationalization intensify the demand for international management decision support tools that enable the analysis of the international environment.
The research object of the thesis is the international management decision support tools fostering the creation, dissemination and implementation of high technologies. The thesis aims to propose a concept for improving international management decision support tools considering the challenges and demands arising under the conditions of contemporary globalization and international cooperation development. This aim is achieved by summarizing a comprehensive investigation of high technology creation, dissemination and implementation processes, their international management practices, and theoretical approaches.“
