This week, our university announced the beginning of the Christmas support campaign - we invited you to donate funds to install a hideout at the Kherson Technical University (Ukraine). The hideout will be furnished with modular furniture created by our university's scientists. In just a few days, you have already donated 1700 EUR, which will be used to make 13 easy-to-assemble tables for the hideout. Thank you!

Lets continue the progress - the hideout still needs cabinets, chairs, and beds. There are so many of us: about 1,700 employees, about 9,000 students, and about 90,000 alumni - united for a common goal, we can give more security to our fellow engineers and future creators of Ukraine by the New Year. Because, unfortunately, our friends at Kherson Technical University (KNTU) may have to celebrate the holidays for the third year with air-raid sirens wailing, and take sessional exams in the university basement.

The installation of such a hiding place costs about 20-30 thousand euros, so each of our Christmas euros will be important. While we collect euro after euro, the Lithuanian furniture for the hideout has already been designed and adapted to a specific room in Kherson, so that teachers and students can continue their lectures in the shelter until the danger passes.
