Vilnius Tech Rector's congratulations on the occasion of September 1
Dear community members,
It feels great to see you all here, present and new creators of the future at VILNIUS TECH.
This year almost three thousand people joined our community – first and second cycle students, doctoral students, Erasmus students, lecturers and researchers from abroad. This number proves that studies and research at VILNIUS TECH is valued not only in Lithuania but also abroad. I hope that the new members will be able to integrate quickly and smoothly into VILNIUS TECH community.
To everyone who entered university for the first time today, I wish you courage to experiment, take action and create. You have an extraordinary opportunity and I encourage you to take advantage of it – become creators of the future and contribute to a better tomorrow.
For several years, pandemic restrictions made it difficult to meet each other in person and shake hands. However, I have no doubt that restrictions are in the past and we will be able to return to the usual routine.
I hope that this academic year we will achieve great results together, learn from mistakes we have made, and discover something new.
I wish VILNIUS TECH students not to lose their motivation to learn more and do more, to get inspiration from professionals in your study fields. For lecturers I wish to rediscover the pleasure of working with students and enjoy the extraordinary opportunity to share their rich experience with others.
Good luck and have significant academic achievements in the new Academic year!
