International
Internationalization is one of the key priorities set by the Antanas Gustaitis’ aviation institute. We strongly believe that every student deserves a chance to participate in mobility programs and experience studies abroad at least for one semester. Therefore, every year at least 10% of the faculty students seek international experience within the framework of the ERASMUS+ mobility program.
Faculty members are also willing to participate actively in mobility programs, therefore we aim at visiting our international partners and facilitate the cooperation by delivering lectures, seminars and workshops at their institutions. The faculty is involved in various international cooperation activities such as research and educational projects, summer schools and networks, thereby we are strongly interested in expansion of partnerships with foreign universities which specialise in the fields of aeronautics and aerospace.
Since 2021 January, Antanas Gustaitis’ aviation institute became the Associate Partner of PEGASUS network. PEGASUS is the partnership of the best European aerospace universities and currently has 28 members in 11 different European countries.
The main objectives of PEGASUS is:
- to offer highly relevant educational and research programmes and thereby attracting the best students and scientists;
- to encourage collaboration between universities in the field of aerospace engineering, with a primary focus on the countries of the European Union;
- to improve the quality of the service provided by the universities to students, the European aerospace industry, the European Member States and the European Union.
