Private Pilot License - PPL(A/H) (A – Aircraft / H - Helicopter)

PPL (A/H) is a qualification that permits to act without remuneration or co-pilot on aircraft in non-commercial operations. 
PPL is the most common type of license in general aviation.

The PPL (A/H) course consists of 110 hours of theoretical knowledge training and 46 hours of practical training in aircraft or helicopters.

Theoretical training consists of:
  • Air Law;
  • Aircraft General Knowledge;
  • Flight Performance and Planning;
  • Human Performance and Limitations;
  • Meteorology;
  • Navigation;
  • Operational Procedures;
  • Principles of Flight;
  • Communications.
Practical flight training:
  • 46 hours of flight training by aircraft or helicopter.

Requirements for participants:
Minimum age is 18 years.
Class 2 Aero-medical requirements apply.

Examination:

Theoretical examination
The applicant must demonstrate theoretical knowledge in the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) in the form of written tests.
The test is maintained if the applicant receives at least 75% of all subjects covered by the examination. The theoretical PPL (A / H) exam must be successfully passed to the CAA within 12 months of basic training.

Practical examination
The practical skill test is conducted in-flight with an authorized CAA examiner and may be accepted after successful written tests by the CAA.

After completing this program and successfully passing theoretical and practical examinations, you will receive PPL (A/H) pilot license. PPL (A/H) is valid throughout the European Union.

Individually, you will be assigned a flight training consultant to help you explore the process and answer any questions you may have.

Operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) under special conditions

In recent years, the unmanned market is one of the most growing markets in the world and if you want to manage your UAV resources responsibly and professionally, these courses are for you.

AGAI has one of the most modern BO laboratories in Lithuania whose specialists will introduce you to all the most important information about BO, which will help you to avoid mistakes that can be very expensive.

The person in charge of the remote-controlled aircraft is responsible for the operation of the unmanned aircraft. The aircraft operator must be familiar with and comply with the basic legal requirements governing the essential requirements for the safety of flights operated under special conditions in the airspace of the Republic of Lithuania.

These courses meet CAA requirements.
The courses will provide you with knowledge about:
  • Aerodynamics of UAV;
  • UAV management;
  • UAV law;
  • UAV navigation;
  • Meteorology relevant to UAV;
  • UAV airworthiness requirements;
  • And other latest information on unmanned aerial vehicles.

Knowledge verification
General part – 8 hr Fixed wing – 2 hr Fixed wing – 6 hr Test – 1 hr CAA Exam*
Multi rotors– 2 hr Multi rotors – 6 hr
*The CAA exam is organized by oneself
