Exhibition „I chose the path of a scientist: Academician Antanas Kudzys – 100"

We invite you to visit the exhibition „I chose the path of a scientist: Academician Antanas Kudzys – 100", dedicated to review and present academician A. Kudzys scientific activities, as well as reflecting on the most significant events in his professional and personal life.

Antanas Kudzys (May 19, 1925 – October 31, 2015) was a Habilitated Doctor of Science in Engineering, professor, full member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, recipient of the State Prize, and honorary doctor of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He was awarded the honorary titles of Meritorious Builder of Lithuania and Meritorious Scientist and Technologist of Lithuania. He received two State Science and Technology Prizes, and together with co-authors, patented four inventions. Antanas Kudzys is included in the list of the 21st century’s most prominent intellectuals compiled by the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

In memory of VILNIUS TECH’s professor, the university has published a book titled „Pasirinkau mokslininko kelią. Akademikui A. Kudziui – 100“.
