About research and innovation

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is one of the leading faculties in terms of scientific production at the University and one of the leaders in Civil Engineering study area across the Baltic and Eastern European region. The faculty is actively conducting both scientific and significant experimental research, and is implementing doctoral studies. Faculty members use building constructions, geotechnical studies and other laboratories equipped with the most advanced research facilities. For more than a decade, the Faculty of Civil Engineering regularly organizes international scientific conferences involving hundreds of scientists from around the world. The faculty publishes seven prestigious scientific journals included in international databases.
