SUSTAINABILITY IN UNIVERSITY
As an important and responsible contributor to societal progress, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University seeks to enhance the university’s contribution to sustainable societal development. The concept of sustainable university development reflects Vilnius Gediminas Technical University’s position, mission, and role in fostering a culture of sustainability within the community and strengthening responsibility toward the environment, society, and the region.
The university aims to contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations, encompassing improvements in social conditions, economic growth, environmental protection, and cooperation.
