Edward Vitkus Scholarships awarded to architecture students
The Edward Vitkus Scholarship Fund scholarships for 2024 were awarded to two students of the Faculty of Architecture of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH).
The Lithuanian Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Chicago, USA, has for many years supported the top-performing, fee-paying students in the VILNIUS TECH Architecture program, and has been increasing the accessibility of architectural studies.
This year the Edward Vitkus Scholarships were awarded to Aleksandra Jemeljanova and Ina Piščalova. Aleksandra has consistently demonstrated excellent academic results and was awarded the scholarship for the second time. Ina uses her artistic inclination in various activities - in her free time she plays in the VILNIUS TECH orchestra. The students are ambitious about their architectural studies and are constantly striving to improve themselves.
The goal of the Lithuanian Foundation is to preserve and support Lithuanian culture, education, and Lithuanian activity centres in the USA, Lithuania and around the world.
