VILNIUS TECH Faculty of Architecture community invites to the presentation of the works of the international summer school "Holiday School: Adaptation of Schools for More Meeting and Recreation". 
The event will take place in the Vilnius Petro Vileišios progymnasium, Filaretų st. 3, on September 15, at 2 p.m.
Estimated duration of the event: 2 hours.

The two-week intensive course, which has been held for the eighth time, is intended for students of architecture and landscape architecture. During it, we examine the architecture of educational buildings. We pay special attention to the adaptation of schools that were built several decades ago to the needs of modern education. This year's theme aims to draw attention to the importance of health and nature in the educational environment.
46 students from VILNIUS TECH, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Brno Technical University and Lviv Polytechnic University visited schools of different eras and educational concepts in Vilnius, Klaipėda, Palanga and Neringa for two weeks and listened to lectures.
This year, the Vilnius Petro Vileišio progymnasium was chosen as the object of attention. During the event, 9 student teams will present their proposals on how the indoor and outdoor spaces of this school could be transformed to meet the spatial needs of the school community and modern education.
