  • About the Institute
About the Institute
The Institute of High Magnetic Fields was founded in 2014 and specializes primarily on the generation of high magnetic and electric fields, bioelectromagnetics, high power electronics and study of biological effects incl. cellular responses to electromagnetic treatment with high focus on electroporation. Previosly it was known as Research Laboratory of High Magnetic Fields (founded in 2001), which was specializing on material science and high power devices.

  3. Application of pulsed and static magnetic fields in biology
  4. Bioelectromagnetics
  5. High-voltage generators and pulsed systems
  6. Applied nanotechnology and electromagnetics in cancer treatment

Consulting

  1. Development of high magnetic and electric field generators
  2. Variuos applications of electromagnetic fields
  3. Generation of high power millisecond, microsecond and nanosecond pulses
  4. Measurement and evaluation of magnetic and electric fields incl. spatial distribution
  5. Calculation of field distribution using finite element method
  6. High voltage systems and transient processes
  7. Power systems
