PRIME Networking (Professional Inter-university Management for Educational Networking), founded in 2001.

PRIME Networking was founded to develop and promote cross-cultural and interdisciplinary training, academic programmes and research that add value to existing education, research and training responsive to a changing global environment, to facilitate co-operation between universities and enterprises and improve the exchange of information and know-how.

 

UNEECC - the University Network of the European Capitals of Culture,founded in Pécs, Hungary in 2006.

The creation of UNeECC originates from the idea that it would be useful for Universities and establishments of Higher Education based in European Capitals of Culture to use this well known and prestigious European institution to stimulate new forms of academic and educational institutional collaboration.

General aims of UNeECC are to ensure the recognition of the role and contribution of universities to the success of the cities conferred the title "European Capital of Culture", to provide the member universities with a possibility of a continuous and full participation in the European Capitals of Culture movement enhanced by "Universities of the Year"  and foster inter-university cooperation to develop and reshape the universities regional position to create new activities for city and university collaboration.

 

The Nice Network makes a valuable contribution to the higher education sector in which it is embedded and provides  genuine value for its stakeholders (member institutions, students, staff, sponsors, communities inter alia).

The members of the Nice Network are eager to embrace the challenges posed by an enlarged European Union and actively pursue suitable initiatives to strengthen the links that were forged in the past. They are striving to increase the level and quality of internationalisation in the network and share their educational experience.
