One year ago, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine. The heroes of Ukraine bravely stood up to defend freedom. They are fighting for the freedom of each and every one of us, so we must stand with Ukraine.

I would like to quote Edmundas Jakilaitis, the initiator of the "Stiprūs kartu" organization: "A nation at war never gets tired, so how could we? As President V. Zelensky told me, if you feel tired, think about the soldiers at the front and the innocent Ukrainians dying".

This week at the university I met students from Ukraine who were wearing the badges of the "Radarom!" campaign. I saw hope in their eyes. We must and we will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes.
