Institute of Mechanical Science
History
The Institute of Mechanical Science is a Department of the Faculty of Mechanics, which was established in 2012. Currently, the Institute of Mechanical Science consists of 3 research laboratories: Laboratory of Experimental Mechanics, Laboratory of Materials Research, Laboratory of Numerical Modeling.
From the establishment of the Institute of Mechanical Science until 01.09.2015, the position of director was prof. habil dr. Rimantas Kačianauskas, and from 01.09.2015 until now the position of the director is doc. dr. Artūras Kilikevičius.
