Do you know how Western Union started in 1851?
VILNIUS TECH students from the Financial Engineering, Business Management, and Organization Management bachelor programs participated in a virtual introductory practice visit at Western Union Lithuania. They had an excellent opportunity to learn answers to this specific and other questions about the origins of the company, the current state and even about the impact of COVID-19.
Western Union Lithuania IT Director Paulius Ramantauskas presented the historical background, values, structure, main financial indicators, process organization map of the company's activities and presented many other interesting facts. Also, we had the opportunity to visit the premises virtually.
During the visit, IT Director confirmed that Western Union Lithuania is the desired employer of VILNIUS TECH graduates and students, as many of his colleagues have completed these and other VILNIUS TECH study programs.
