Vilnius Gediminas Technical University welcomes international students to apply on individual basis as free movers.

 

This applies to foreign students who wish to take only a few courses at our University, or who plan to study in Vilnius for one or two semesters.

 

Free movers are permitted to participate in courses and examinations and are issued a Transcript of Records after exams are passed.

 

Free movers may apply for courses at Bachelor's as well as Master's level. However, we recommend that free mover applicants have already completed at least two year of full time university studies, or hold a Bachelor's degree. Students can choose not less than 20 ECTS and not more than 35 ECTS credits per one semester.

Free movers are obliged to pay tuition fee for the courses they attend. The prices are:

 

60 EUR for one ECTS credit for EU students;

 

65 EUR for one ECTS credit for non-EU students;

 

Applications may be submitted throughout the year. It is, however, strongly recommended to apply at least three months before the commencement of studies. The semester commences on 1 September (autumn term) and on 1st week of February (spring term).

 

Students have to fill in a Contact form and Learning Agreement (coordinator at home university also has to agree on subjects chosen) and send it along with a transcript of records, a copy of passport, recent photo, and a short motivation letter to crypt:dHNjQHZpbG5pdXN0ZWNoLmx0:xx  scanned or to universities postal address:
