Erasmus+ studies in EU

Information for students who want to apply for the Erasmus+ studies

In the frames of the Erasmus+ programme all VILNIUS TECH students may have study exchange in one of VILNIUS TECH partner institutions of higher education in one of the programme countries.

Selection for the Erasmus+  studies is held two times a year:
•    in February–March for next academic year autumn or spring semester optionally.
•    in September–October for exchange in the current academic year spring semester;

The same student may participate in mobility periods totaling up to 12 months per cycle of study (bachelor, master, and PhD studies). The minimum duration of the Erasmus+ studies is 1 semester (3-6 months).

IMPORTANT if you want to apply for "Erasmus+"

1.    Each faculty of VILNIUS TECH has its own partner list. You can choose up to 3 partner institutions;

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes

Be an Erasmus+ student more than once!

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are short and intensive training programmes, including online cooperation by combining physical mobility with a virtual part, and promoting and using innovative ways of learning and teaching, research-based and challenge-based learning.

The virtual part will allow the participation in teaching/training of experts from all partners. The physical short-term mobility will allow the face-to-face cooperation of teachers and participants.

VILNIUS TECH offers BIP to support an important enlargement and flexibility of Erasmus+ mobility. BIP enlarge the mobility dimension by receiving participants that stay at home institution (except during the short-term physical mobility at VILNIUS TECH) and allow the participation of VILNIUS TECH students (internationalisation at home).

Students can maintain their study plan at home institution and include the BIP training as parallel activity. The short-term physical mobility will constitute the only period outside their home institution. Students will credit the BIP at their study plans.
