ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTRE
The goal of our Academic Support Centre (ASC) is to help teachers, field experts, and researchers overcome the challenges of teaching students. In the 21st century, a time of rapid change within society along with its needs and expectations, both new and experienced teachers contemplate how a lecture should be organized, what teaching and evaluation methods should be applied, how to motivate their students, what technologies should be used to teach effectively and appealingly, how to adapt the teaching materials to students with special needs.
Our ASC team, comprised of professional educators, psychologists and digital competencies experts, has the capacity to answer many of these questions and assists in finding new potential solutions to these problems in a creative and open-minded manner.
We organize and conduct training seminars and consultations for VILNIUS TECH teachers, effectively contributing to the realization of the lifelong learning principle and the implementation of student-centered studies. We guarantee teachers the opportunity to continuously improve in their didactic, digital, and general higher education competencies.
A part of the ASC activities is aimed at students—they are counseled and instructed by psychologists, a career consultant, and a coordinator of the affairs of students with disabilities.
