Saturday (September 26th) morning was a busy one as multiple runners from all over Lithuania gathered together in the VU football field for a track and field race, which was organised by Vilnius Gedimino technikos universitetas.
ilnius Tech, VU, LSU, LSMU and KTU were some of the notable universities present in full force to back their runners. There were 4 races conducted in total for both boys (3000 and 5000 meters) and girls (1000 and 2000 meters). The event was conducted very smoothly with water and snacks available for runners and plenty of seats to get a perfect view of the finish line!
Vilnius Tech's runners took IIIrd place in boys group and IVth in girls group.
In 3000 meters run Vilnius Tech students Justinas Laurinaitis took Ist place (10:48 min), Rokas Barauskas IInd place (10:58 min), Kasparas Šulčys – IIIrd place (11:10 min).
