During Nov 12-16 Assoc. Prof. dr. Andrius Tamošiūnas of Dep. of Management under invitation of Assoc. Prof. Leon Pretorius, Department of Engineering and Technology Management, via Erasmus Global programme have been visiting the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

During this visit:

• the lectures were given on "Enterprise restructuring in the context of secular economies, technology progress" to the audience of PhD students of the Department of Engineering and Technology Management. Management experience, challenges and solutions of restructuring organizations operating as in public as in private sectors in Lithuania and other EU members have been reviewed;
• final year master’s degree symposium was attended participating in the intermediary assessments of master thesis of the students;
• possibilities were discussed for teachers’ mobility and for cooperation with professors L. Pretorius, H. Wolmarans, S. J. Benade.

The University of Pretoria is one of oldest, famous and biggest universities in South Africa: 141 structural departments, 85 centers, 1800 academic programs, 11 faculties, about 65000 students.
