COVID-19 Pandemic & SNOwMan Project Final Open Conference on Practical Perspective on Non-Technological Innovation in SME’s
In light of the current situation with COVID19-virus pandemic in Europe, when the public workplaces in most countries are locked down, the SNOwMan project partners are decided to postpose the SNOwMan Final Open Conference from the 14-15 May 2020 to the 10-11 September 2020 in Denmark. In the meantime, SNOwMan project work packages will be operating as normal, transferring some works to online platforms.
SNOwMan Final Open Conference will focus on the practical perspective on non-technological innovation in SME’s - production companies. Preliminary, the Final Conference will integrate such content as keynote speakers (from academic and business), panel debate with SMEs owner managers in the production business, companies’ intermediaries - consultants, experts from higher education institutions, associate partners - to debate on the preliminary theme about value creation and complexity of navigating in the field between technological and non-technological innovation. The Final Conference is planned to be enriched by short videos of the participants with important statements.
The Final Conference will give the audience an insights into “why non-technological innovation?”, “what observations and data are on the field of non-technological innovation”, and “which parameters help SME’s owner managers to grow”.
SNOwMan Project partners are planning to create inspirational catalogue for the Final Open Conference in September. This catalogue will be open for internet users and planning to be available in the digital form. The preliminary content of inspirational catalogue: introduction to the SNOwMan-project and the need for non-technological innovation; inspirational stories on how to work with non-technological innovation from owner managers who has participated in the SNOwMan project activities; article on experiences, success stories, test results, counseling toolbox – and supporting toolbox. The inspirational stories from owner managers of production companies will be available on the SNOwMan website (aktyvus snowman linkas į snowman puslapį).
Keeping a close eye on global developments, SNOwMan partners hope sincerely, that towards the autumn it shall be able to create the opportunity to bring companies’ intermediaries-consultants, owner managers and higher education institutions, and associated partners community together to the SNOwMan project Final Open Conference safely.
