On October 7 - 11 - Giedrius Cyras, lecturer at the Department of Business Technology and Entrepreneurship at the Business Management Faculty of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) was visiting the ULisboa, which is the best Portuguese university in QS World Ranking 2020. The university ranks 338th in QS Global World Ranking among more than 1600 universities. in Portugal. Teacher was working under the Erasmus + Teaching mobility.
 
The aim of the visit was to improve the quality of the teaching program and to acquire new pedagogical practice knowledge. Visit was supervised by Professor Rui Mendes and it was taught at the Business Management Faculty, for Management Course students. The professors had discussion about the general aspects of the subject both are teaching, the possibilities for program development and good practice examples. The professor's Rui Mendes responding visit to VGTU was agreed for May 2020 with the purpose of teaching for Business Logistics, Organization Management and Business Management courses.

Teaching subjects:

• Presenting Engineering and Business Management interaction in Lithuania.
• Introduction to Lithuanian Industry 4.0 projects, possible comparative analysis with Portugal case.
• Introduction to Lithuanian Heavy Industry and its impact to economic, possible comparative analysis with Portugal case.
• Introduction to Lithuanian Petro chemistry Industry and its impact to economic, possible comparative analysis with Portugal case.

Another goal was to search for potential university partners. To do this, a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Management met with Mirko VARANO, Senior Advisor International Projects at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. A joint visit to the Swedish unit in April 2020 is foreseen. Also, a new contact has been established with the Director of the International office of South China University of Technology Simon Yang; International Exchangeand Administration Office director BU Hengchun; Deputy Director Associate Dean of Dalian University of Technology. It had been discussed the opportunities for a joint publication on the Internet of Things and sharing economy for the conference “Business and Management 2020” in VGTU.
 
Giedrius Cyras discussed possible areas of co-operation and opportunities for joint publications with Ganichkina Mariia, Economic researcher at North Caucasus Federal University in Russia. Conferences and magazines organized by VGTU VVF were presented during the meetings. Opportunities for collaboration and joint publications were discussed for the conference “Business and Management 2020”.
