We invite you on Wednesday, 26 April at 12:10 h. in SRK-I 620 aud. to participate in an open lecture about derivatives, which introduces Edita Juodiene, Head of Markets Services at Danske Bank.
Edita Juodiene, Head of Markets Services at Danske Bank has over seven years of experience in the financial sector and is currently heading a global Markets Service function, which operates as a center of excellence for the post-trade support functions for Large Corporates and Institutions' customers segment.
During the “Introduction to the World of Derivatives” lecture, you will be introduced to the definition of the derivatives and after the lecture you should be able to understand better the purpose of the instrument itself and the use of the instruments in the market. You will get familiar with the main types of derivatives used in the market as the session will cover the classification of derivatives and explain the specifics of different instruments. Therefore, you should get not only familiar with the definitions but also be able to understand the differences between different securities types.
The lecture will be held in English.
