Data is now more valuable than ever before because of the insights it can provide about a company’s products and its customers. One way to extract value from data is called predictive analytics. It involves different statistical techniques: predictive modelling, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data mining. The main goal is to predict unknown future events by using historical data.
What are the key applications of predictive modelling in the banking sector? What is the process from data retrieval to decision making? Finally, how to present data effectively?
Karolina Griciūnė started her career as a data scientist 7 years ago and now she is a leading data scientist and head of Behavioural Modelling team in Danske Bank.
