Lecturer Aleksei Iurasov visited Technical university of Berlin
Lecturer of the Department of Business Technologies and Entrepreneurship prof. dr. Aleksei Iurasov visited the Technical University of Berlin (Germany) from 9th to 13th of April.
VGTU took part in the preparation of the application proposal "Development of a Competence-based Study Program in Applied Industrial Data Science" for the ERASMUS+ Key Action 2 - Capacity Building project. During the preparation process the decision was made: to create a new application proposal next year (topic: “Applied Artificial Intelligence curriculum for business and administration”). The aim of the ERASMUS+ short visit program was to present and discuss teaching materials, compose detailed distribution of work packages for the new project between TU Berlin and VGTU, attend TU Berlin International Week 2019 and improve international co-operation between two universities. Also, visit in the HTW Berlin (University of applied sciences in Berlin) was aimed at establishing relations and discussing EUROSTARS application proposal.
The Technical University of Berlin is known for its highly ranked engineering programmes, especially in computer science, mechanical engineering, economics and management. The TU Berlin is a member of TU9, an incorporated society of the largest and most notable German institutes of technology and of the Top Industrial Managers for Europe network, which allows for student exchanges between leading engineering schools.
