Lectures by Mag. Olga Zervina
The Department of Management is pleased to announce the lectures to be given by Mag. Olga Zervina, MBA, Transport and Telecommunication University, Latvia.
The lectures will take place at 12.10-13.45 and from 14.30, 17 September; the Auditorium SRK-I 209.
Olga Zervina received her MBA in Economics from Riga Aviation University (Latvia). Currently, she is a Lecturer at Transport and Telecommunication Institute (Latvia). She is teaching Entrepreneurship and Career Management, Marketing and E-Marketing courses in English.
The lecture will help students to realize a significant role of ethics as part of the company’s management. The ethical principles that govern company’s strategic decisions are determined. Ethical code also gives specific guidance for handling issues like harassment, safety, and conflict of interest. The idea of ethical codes as part of the company’s management is relatively new and its developing depends on the principles and morale that the society is ruled by in the given moment.
Transport and Telecommunication University is the only private technical university in Latvia and a successor of Civil Aviation Institute, world-known civil aviation university. The lectures are delivered for students studying strategic management subject and also for everybody who is interested into these issues.
