Prof. dr. Vida Davidavičienė visited Pretoria University in South Africa Republic
Head of Department of Business Technology and Entrepreneurship, prof. dr. Vida Davidavičienė visited Pretoria University (South Africa Republic) on February 18 - February 26, 2018.
The meeting were held with the Technology Management School of Pretoria Unioversity researchers and professors. The peculiarities of the study programs of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and the University of Pretoria were disscussed, as well as scientific research trends, ongoing projects. Visit dates and activities of Pretoria University scientists to the VGTU were planned.
On February 22, 2018 an 10 academic hours interactive seminar was arranged - a discussion with the doctoral student of this school, during which the issues of ongoing dissertation research were discussed. Doctoral students at the Technology Management PhD in Pretoria University work in the following areas: E-logistics, Reducing project design changes, Challenges for the management of energy companies, Adapting mobile business to customer needs, etc. Theory of systems dynamics and the application of it for dissertations for the preparation of doctoral dissertations were presented.
