Professor R.Smaliukienė participated at international marketing week in EPHEC (Belgium)
Professor of the Faculties of Creative Industries and Business Management R.Smaliukienė participated at international marketing week in EPHEC (Belgium) on 23-26 of April under the Erasmus teaching programme.
The International Marketing Week was organized for the 12th time. It is designed for students to provide them with international experience and connect their theoretical knowledge with practical experience. The main task for the students was delivered by Belgian brewery Bertinchamps, who seeks to extend its export market. Totally twelve groups of students were presenting their solutions and teachers were coaching them all the week long.
In the parallel to this event, there was an international ITC week and VGTU professor has an opportunity to visit Belgian Microsoft innovation centre. The centre provides business consultations, training, is open to students and provides places for their internship. Dering the visit to the centre, hard topic on artificial intelligence and ethics was discussed. This topic requires the contribution of social scientist s well as students from business and communication fields.
The visit to EPHEC brought broad-based experience: teaching, student coaching, and meeting with ICT developers. This experience is highly valuable for future teaching at VGTU.
