Representatives from the Faculty of Business Management, lecturer of the Department of Law Raimonda Bubliene and associated professor of the Department of Business Technologies dr. Aurelija Burinskiene, participated in the Erasmus+ teaching week in Fes (Morocco). Teaching programme was organized by the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University on October 31-November 4, 2016.
 
The aim of visit was to meet with the heads of faculties of social and technical sciences, also with students from different studies (undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students), and academic community aiming to increase awareness about Lithuania and VGTU and to present opportunities for cooperation; as well as to introduce students to encourage interdisciplinary interest themes and attend part-time studies at the Faculty of Business Management.

VGTU representatives met academia from the Faculty of legal sciences and economics, the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Transport Engineering, and the Faculty of Technical science, also Erasmus coordinators, to discuss wide student exchange opportunities, also gave lectures on law, e-commerce, and logistics to students and academics. Given lectures were attended by 100 students from different faculties and all study levels. The students of SMBA University presented high logical and critical thinking, also high motivation to increase knowledge.
 
Lecturers participated in an international legal conference A Regional Roundtable on "Decentralisation and the State in the Arab Region", which was organized by the SMBA University (Law Sciences and Faculty of Economics), laboratory of constitutional, financial and public learning LECFD, and the association of Arab countries on the constitutional law (The Arab Association of Constitutional Law). The conference was attended by 400 participants, among them were participants from 10 countries, such as France, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco and others countries.

During the conference and trip VGTU staff established cooperative relations with the academia of SMBA University and discussed an inter-institutional cooperation. The representatives of SMBA University expressed a positive attitude towards a bilateral cooperation agreement between SMBA University and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
 
At the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (SMBA) are studying 100 thousand students who are connected to 13 faculties, at SMBA university in the Faculty of Law science and Economics study 29 thousand first-cycle students, 1245 students pursuing a Master's degree, and 822 doctoral students. 43 percent of students are women. The Faculty is organizing an international conference on "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" (which will be held on the May 11-12th, 2017).
