Seminar with the Bulgarian Cluster for Education, Trainings and Qualifications (CETQ)
From 10.09.2018 till 13.09.2018 the project “Design Lab” manager of VGTU part prof. dr. Jurgita Raudeliūnienė and project researcher prof. dr. Vida Davidavičienė (Business Technologies and Entrepreneurship Department) hosted a seminar for exchange of best practices for promoting self-employment, entrepreneurship and establishment of creative enterprises, implemented together with the Bulgarian Cluster for Education, Trainings and Qualifications (CETQ).
The event summarized the results from capacity building, adaptation, validation and pilot implementation of innovative practices for promoting self-employment, entrepreneurship and establishment of creative enterprises. All participants were informed how the Lithuanian experience with HackECOM hackathon, VGTU LinkMenų fabrikas,Sunrise Valley, Business Hive Vilnius had been integrated with the European experience with InCompassand SMARTUP, giving birth to a kind of incubator for freelancers and entrepreneurs in the field of design, applied arts and crafts. By its means and the Design centre, operated by CETQ, the best performers from the first Designathon in Bulgaria are being assisted in the development, prototyping, testing and marketing of their ideas.
During the whole seminar, there was fruitful discussion between the experts from VGTU and CETQ, with feedback for the achievements done and future plans for project multiplication. The project “Design Lab” (No BG05M9OP001-4.001-0097-C01, call “Transnational and Danube partnerships for employment and growth”) financed by Operational Programme “Human Resources Development”.
