The annual International Day of University Sport (IDUS): celebrate together and participate in Competitions series and Quest.
The annual International Day of University Sport (IDUS) is back on 20th September 2021. Officially proclaimed by UNESCO, IDUS has been gaining in strength and popularity over the years with students, universities, sports federations and clubs organising their own events all around the Globe. Organised every year since 2016, IDUS aims to create a link between universities and local communities through sport, physical activity and healthy living. During this event, the Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU) wants to involve university students in sports activities and use it as a platform for exchanging ideas.
VILNIUS TECH Sports and Art Center invites you to celebrate together and participate in Competitions series and Quest.
Lets meet for a Competition during the lunch break (1:45-2:30 P.M.) outside of SRA-I if weather conditions will allow. If it will be raining – at the SRA-I hall (next to the canteen).
During the competition, students will test their reaction, speed and physical form in non-traditional ways. Good mood and various prizes are guaranteed and the most persistent participant who will win the entire competition and achieve the best result will be awarded with VILNIUS TECH backpack.
Another funny activity for our students is the orientation game - QUEST "VILNIUS TECH for the new eyes", which will take place at 11 am. If weather conditions will allow –we will meet outside between SRC and SRA-I, if the rain will occur – at the SRK-II hall.
The every Quest is related to a specific topic, in this case - the architecture and history of the University. It‘s essence is to overcome the route and complete the tasks within the specified time. The quest will be played in teams competing with other teams. Participants, provided with coordinates of the starting point, will follow provided references using their smartphones to reach certain locations, to complete tasks there and to receive further directions to travel further.
