This year, on October 27 at 2:30 PM, at the invitation of Dr. Liudmila Lobanova from the Department of Management, the Cognizant Lietuva team — Rasa Žėkaitė (Team Lead) and Eugenijus Kaupas (Service Delivery Manager) — will deliver a lecture titled “Values-Based Leadership and Ethical Leadership.” The lecture will be held in English in room S3 (SRK-I) 620.
 

During this session, guest speakers from Cognizant will explore what it truly means to be a good leader. While many hold leadership titles, few embody the qualities that define great leadership. Becoming a leader may begin with a formal mandate, but earning the trust and respect that come with it is a personal journey — one shaped by values, ethics, and continuous growth.

We’ll discuss how leadership is not just about authority, but about responsibility, integrity, and alignment with organizational values. When leaders genuinely live by their company’s ethics and principles, they become ambassadors of culture. Otherwise, values risk becoming mere words on paper.
