VGTU staff participates at Research and Innovation Staff Exchange
Representative from the Faculty of Business Management the lecturer of the Department of Law Raimonda Bubliene participated in the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange project HORIZON 2020 (Marie Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) Cluster Development Med (CLUSDEV MED) MSCA-RISE-2014 no: 645730 visit to Academy of Scientific Research and Technology on October-November, 2018. The Head of the following project professor Manuela Tvaronaviciene Business Management Faculty, Department of Business Technologies and Entrepreneurship.
The goal of this internship is to foster research collaboration and support capacity-building actions in the cluster management field. The aim of visit was to participate at the meetings with the heads of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Central Metallurgical Research & Development Institute, Electronics Research Institute. Participation in the Host Institution activities process in order to investigate the methods applied for the scientific research, following the objectives of innovation management instruments, principles and rules legal regulation. Meetings with the members of the academic community aiming to increase awareness about Lithuania and VGTU and to present opportunities for cooperation.
Lecturer participated in the meetings with all the lecturers that participated in the staff assessment. During the meetings, Raimonda Bubliene established cooperative relations with representatives of the institutions and discussed an inter-institutional cooperation.
During the meeting with Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Central Metallurgical Research & Development Institute, Electronics Research Institute staff discussed opportunities for further an inter-institutional cooperation. R. Bubliene made a presentation about study and research opportunities in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) is a non‐profit organization affiliated to the Ministry of Scientific Research, established in September 1971 by the Presidential Decree No 2405 as the national authority responsible for science & technology in Egypt. ASRT is the Egyptian house of expertise. It brings together outstanding Egyptian scientists and experts from universities, research institutions, private sector, NGOs, policymakers and prominent Egyptian scientists in Diaspora to deliberate country problems, propose and carry out scientific studies and future strategic basic plans to tackle these problems.
ASRT adopts a comprehensive plan for developing Egyptian S&T to support relevant national ministries and research institutions in creating an integrated system of scientific research together for increasing the number of trained scientists in Egypt, and giving science a leading role in the country's development and knowledge based economy. ASRT also promotes and encourages female and youth participation in S&T and scientific leadership.
