WEC project platform is now online: a central hub for learning and change
The Erasmus+ project Women Empowered in Construction (WEC) has launched its official project platform – a central space bringing together information, resources, and learning materials designed to support women’s participation and career development in the construction sector.
The platform offers a clear overview of the project’s goals, partnership, and ongoing activities across the participating countries. It also serves as a practical resource centre where visitors can follow project news, discover upcoming events, and access materials created throughout the project.
A key focus of the platform is education. It will host a growing collection of practical articles and interactive content, along with online courses and training resources aimed at learners, educators, and professionals. In addition, the platform will include a VET curriculum and toolkit that support more inclusive training approaches in construction-related education.
Another important section highlights “stories of impact” – real-life experiences and perspectives from partner countries that help make visible the challenges, opportunities, and progress related to gender equality in the sector.
As a partner in the WEC project, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) encourages educators, students, and industry representatives to explore the platform, follow the project’s updates, and make use of the resources as they are released. The platform will continue to expand during 2025 and 2026 as new materials, courses, and results are published.
