Entertainment Industries
• Entertainment Industries is the first-cycle (BA) study program in communication that enables students to apply their knowledge of the social and human sciences to research into entertainment industries. Such industries play an increasing role in our lives, leisure activities, and work environment. The program develops the skills needed to progress new ideas, events, and innovations, as well as event organization and the innovative adaptation of foreign entertainment projects in Lithuania and their promotion in the local market.
• The specialization of entertainment production is focused on the creation of entertainment ideas, formats of entertainment events, entertainment innovations, organization and production of events, innovative adaptation of various foreign entertainment projects in Lithuania, their popularization, creation, and development of entertainment culture and ethics. Business and management subjects focusing on entertainment communication are also studied.
• The specialization of sports industries is unique in Lithuania. This program focuses on sports industry public relations and media, marketing, and advertising events. Sports Industry Studies prepares professional sports communicators and sports event organizers.

It prepares specialists who are capable of the complex design and implementation of engineering events projects. Students will acquire skills and competencies in lighting design, sound engineering, engineering scene systems and structures, pyrotechnics and laser effects, 3D mapping projections, and event maintenance and safety. Graduates can expect to work for companies that provide specialist technical solutions for events (e.g., stage construction), as well as event organizing agencies, theaters, and cinemas, business, conference and meeting centers, exhibition halls, cinematographic studios, radio and television companies. Event engineers are versatile in their use of different technologies and equipment and can apply their technical skills to complex entertainment projects, thereby ensuring their security and success.
