Distance learning to continue at VGTU until the end of the academic year
Taking into account the situation in the country, it has been decided to continue distance learning at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) until the end of the academic year 2019-2020.
All interim and final assessments and evaluation of laboratory work, projects and course papers shall be carried out online; where the latter is impossible, the assessments will be cancelled and replaced with an equivalent assignment. The university recommends to carry out assessments via video-conferencing or on Moodle.
Information about internships is provided in the document “Arrangement of Student Evaluation Calendar for 2019-2020 Spring Semester” and under Frequently Asked Questions.
We would like to draw your attention, that academic year for the final year students is prolonged for one week. Final theses are written according to the given timetable and will be defended online. Information about final thesis submission and defence is provided under Frequently Asked Questions.

The decision regarding graduation ceremonies will be made before 10 June, according to the further developments of COVID-19 situation in Lithuania. We will inform you about the decision in a separate email.
