The First Meeting of the International Scientific Project X-HuLog4.0 Took Place
We are pleased to announce that on August 28th of this year, the first meeting of the international scientific project "Excellence in Human-Centered Logistics 4.0" (X-HuLog4.0) took place in Vienna, Austria. The project is funded by the European Union.
The meeting was attended by representatives from all the scientific institutions involved in the project: VILNIUS TECH, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Darmstadt University of Technology (TUDa), and Saarland University (USAAR).
During the first project meeting, the representatives briefly introduced their respective organizations, discussed their key responsibilities within the project, and introduced the main team members contributing to the project's implementation. The project leader, Prof. Dr. Aurelija Burinskienė, presented the overall goals of the X-HuLog4.0 project, the structure of the work packages, the key project milestones, and the upcoming events. The project partners and their responsibilities were presented by the team leaders: Prof. Dr. Aurelija Burinskienė (VILNIUS TECH), Prof. Dr. Fabio Sgarbossa (NTNU), Prof. Dr. Christoph H. Glock (TUDa), and Junior Prof. Dr. Eric Grosse (USAAR). Members of the university teams also participated in the meeting. The VILNIUS TECH team was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jolanta Nalivaikė, Dr. Jelena Kabulova, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olga Lingaitienė, and Gvidas Lingaitis. NTNU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sotirios Panagou and Amir Zare. TUDa was represented by Dr. Subraata Panja, and Michael Bauer represented USAAR. The meeting also featured the participation of the representative of the European Research Executive Agency, Research Programme Manager Paula Valente Correia, who introduced the key aspects of the Horizon funding program.
