The aim of this study programme is to prepare and educate the professionals of transport and logistics who would know the phenomena of contemporary business and economics, the trends of science and technologies and the advancements of machinery, which ensure the development of transport and logistics services sector in the state and EU; would understand the theories and fundamental laws of business, economics, and engineering and the methods applicable for adequate analysis and solution of complex transport and logistics problems, arising under completely new conditions, would be able to use the results of the most recent research and the practical skills acquired from the study programme in the field of chosen professional activity and would be able to participate in carrying out scientific and applied research in the field of transport and logistics relevant to Lithuanian society.
