Expanding Collaboration with the Transport and Telecommunication Institute
At the end of 2024, VILNIUS TECH and the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI, Riga, Latvia) signed a new memorandum of understanding, paving the way for insightful academic and scientific cooperation.
The memorandum outlines the expansion of collaboration in doctoral studies and research. Both institutions commit to student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, scientific publications, and academic event organization. This agreement will contribute to knowledge development not only in the Baltic Sea region, but also internationally.

New Opportunities in Doctoral Studies:

Doctoral and Master's Studies: Opportunities are provided for students to begin or continue studies at the partner institution, ensuring mutual recognition of study periods.

Student Exchanges: Doctoral students will have the chance to share knowledge, gain practical experience, and receive guidance in preparing their final theses.

Infrastructure Access: Students and staff will be able to utilize the research infrastructure of partner institutions.

Academic Qualifications: Staff from both institutions will supervise dissertations, participate in defense committees, and act as reviewers.

Joint Projects: Joint research projects and the exchange of teaching experiences are planned.

Lecturer Exchanges: Staff will be invited to deliver lectures, training sessions, and seminars.
